QUENTIN BETHEA
The heartbeat of a worshipper is the sound that pleases God.  Quentin Bethea is a young worshipper, whose roots are deeply planted in the music that he truly believes brings Glory to God, and inspirational messages to those that listen.

Starting at the age of eight his musical journey would begin, as he pushed an old piano into his garage off the side of street.  The piano was meant for the city garbage dump, but was destined to be in garage of young Quentin, where he would hammer away until the notes became melodies, and the melodies became harmonies, and the mixture became nice chords, and eventually the chords became songs.

Quentin grew up in the city of Charlotte, NC deeply rooted in Church and Religious music, but as he got older his love for music would broaden as he opened his ears to musical geniuses like Stevie Wonder, and Billy Joel, Kirk Franklin and The Beatles, Donny Hathaway and Smokey Robinson, and the list goes on and on.  His style comes from a very apparent concoction of many different sounds.  However, with his roots so firmly planted in the church, singing Gospel music gives him great joy.

His musical journey since age eight has led him to many great opportunities such as: Performing live with the Gibson/Baldwin GRAMMY Jazz Ensembles in both 2006 and 2007, through which he was flown to LA to participate in the GRAMMY week events, and perform at the after-party as a high school student.  He has also been as far as South Africa singing and speaking to young people like himself.  Countless venues in and around North Carolina have experienced the sound and flow of Quentin Bethea, and many more are to come.

After signing with the newly formed “I Got Records” out of Charlotte, NC, Quentin’s debut album is set to be released in 2008, and the he is sure to take the Gospel Industry by storm!
