Hailing from Miami, Florida, Kurtiz The Kid (born Curtis Nyarko) is here to make his mark. Kurtiz has a style that is undeniably looked upon as pure raw talent. At the young age of 17, this teenager is focused on taking the music industry by storm. With a flow that seems almost impossible for someone at his age to have, Kurtiz writes all of his lyrics and keeps them all clean at that. ìI donít feel the need for profanity in my music. The way I see it, that’s just a way to fill in that blank when you got nothing else to say. I’ll always have something to say so I won't have to worry about that.

Kurtiz The Kid became involved in music at an early age. Having a mother who sang, playing instruments, and being involved in various musical school activities have contributed to the skills of the rapper today. I wrote my first rap when I was eight years old. It was only like four lines but to me it was masterpiece. It’s been a long and wild journey from that first rap.

Music in one of many things that this young phenomenon is into. Kurtiz is very active and enjoys playing sports such as basketball and football. School is also a big focus of his. This young man has a good head on his shoulders and is taking all honors classes at his school. Education is important to me, my parents taught me that. I get good grades and I’m proud of myself for that.
